We are touring a Forum Theatre workshop based on Freefall to schools across Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire through February & March 2016.
The aim of the tour is to raise awareness of young carers and help identify hidden young carers.
The workshop is being developed & delivered by a professional team of theatre practitioners using the input we’ve had from Young Carers. We will also be training Young Adult Carers to help deliver the workshop, providing skills development training & experiences to aid their future employability.
Lasting about 1 hour, the piece is suitable for key stages 3 & 4 and we can offer up to 3 workshops to a school in a day. The work is heavily subsidised thanks to funding from Children In Need & The Big Lottery Fund. We also have additional support which enables a specific set of dates for Forest Heath District based organisations thanks to Forest Heath District Council’s Community Chest Programme.
Please download the information sheet and ensure you get in touch with us by the end of November to book your slot as we have limited availability.
